Anyway.

I feel like I've been lazy with my blogging but I assure you STUFF IS STILL HAPPENING.

For example:



A few days ago Erica and I walked to Lakeside Park. We strolled through the Palm Tree Forest which I love. Yes, Erica's shirt says "TRUTH" on it.


We sat in this little garden and smoked a bowl. At one point, an old woman approached, and we were a LITTLE worried that she might frown upon us, but then she suddenly stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and started doing crazy yoga moves so then we looked at each other and shrugged and Erica passed that shit to her left.



I was walking to meet Jose by the lake on Saturday while talking to my mom on the phone. She got freaked out that I was walking somewhere alone at 7:45 PM, so I took this picture of the serene lake to quell her fears. I am sure it did not work.

Then me, Dan, Jose, and his friend Rachel went to Whole Foods, and I bought me and Rachel dinner with my food stamps.

Then we went to Jose's and smoked and ate and watched TV. Nate and Anna came over as well. Then I offered to buy them donuts if they gave me and Dan a ride home, so they did and we all got donuts. I got a chocolate covered one with coconut on it.

YUM.

I have 2 pictures from June 5, which is a day I failed to mention in here AT ALL.
It was a very fun day though.
Me and Dan were gonna try and go to Caroline from the Splinters's going away party, because she moved to New York.
It was in Berkeley so we decided to take the BART.
We walked all the way to the Lake Merritt station while at the same time trying to coordinate with Nate.
Once we were pretty much all the way there we decided it was a terrible idea to try and go to Berkeley, so we turned right around and walked to Suzy's house in Downtown Oakland where there was ANOTHER going away party for someone I don't know.

Kayla and Crystal were there and after like 5 minutes we all decided to try and catch Huff Stuff Magazine at 24th and Linden.
I'm pretty sure Crystal drove us there.

Then immediately after they played we went back to Suzy's house where there was free beer, an amazing backyard, TONS of really pretty paper flowers everywhere, and Suzy shared tons of weed with me and my friends.

We were at a lot of places this night. It was a long time ago. There was lots of weed and walking involved. This picture MIGHT be from Suzy's roof? Does she have one of those? I have no idea whose roof this picture was taken on. This picture isn't even cool.

THENNNNN, we went to Sugar Mountain to see Shannon and the Clams.
It was fun! I met Max at this show and now we are friends.
Last night at practice, we were talking about The Rentals and I exclaimed "I LOVE THE RENTALS!"
Then Max started playing a Rentals song and I didn't know it. WOOPS!
I guess I shouldn't say "I love The Rentals".
I should say that I love "The Return of The Rentals", by The Rentals.
What a great album!
I've been wanting to cover "Naive" for a long time.



Max's band UZI RASH played on Friday at Sugar Mountain. Huff Stuff Magazine played as well and it was very fun. Someone gave me a ride to Locos - could it have been Erica? I met up there with Anabel, Kayla, and Crystal and then we walked (in the middle of the street) to the show.

But for real, their set was the fucking REALEST shit I've seen in a really long time.
I usually get pretty bored at shows but their set was fucking AWESOME and made me EXCITED about music and art and living in Oakland again in general.

Then we went back to Locos and danced our GODDAMN ASSES OFF!!!!!!!!!!!



I haven't been to a deece dance party in a while.

We did more drugs.

Then I slept on Mike's couch. He said, "You can sleep in my bed of course, if you want. I swear I'm not trying to sleep with you." and I said, "I know!"

He was wasted!

Then I woke up at like 6:30 and walked to Pak N Sav and bought a apple and got some cash back so I could take tha 18.

And then I walked back to the bus stop and ate my apple and took the 18 back to Dan and Erica's where I promptly passed the fuck out.



Now I'm eating ramen and watching Sesame Street and txting friends.
Today I am going to make more weed butter!



ALSO, I recorded a "new" song for a MODERN SLEEZE Records compilation. It's called "Oh Baby" and it's up now on myspace and facebook.

It was actually supposed to be a Have Mercys song but then we broke up.

Stuff continues to happen. I don't remember much of it unfortunately, so I have to take pictures to remind myself.

I don't have any photographic evidence but I know that on Monday night Mike and Nate rode their bikes to me and Dan made spaghetti and meatballs.
Then we got really stoned and the boys played video games and I went to sleep.


My friend Erik Gage from White Fang/Portland was in town with the band Eat Skull, so on Tuesday I went to hang out with him.

Rob from Eat Skull just moved into a house on Telegraph. How fun!
We sat on the stoop and smoked weed and this one silly man walked by and talked to us for a bit.
He was wicked fucked up and told us of his colorful flashlight.
He was also wondering if we had seen the Matrix?
I liked him.
I've only seen the first one though, and it was a really long time ago.
Like, 1998 or some bullshit.

Anyway, then we went to Indian Rock!
Indian Rock is a gigantic fucking rock in Berkeley. Actually, I guess there are a lot of big fucking rocks at this Indian Rock Park. I only saw one though.



You had to walk up a long hill through this little walkway, which was very pretty.
Rob was fucking HAULING ASS up this hill though and I was very tired by the time we got to the top.

Then they dropped me off at The Full House House where I proceeded to hang out with Nate, Kayla, Lilly, and Anabel.

Then we picked up Lil' Crystal and went to Whole Foods to get dinner.
Then we dropped Crystal off and went to The Hive to see Mike's "other" band, Salted Earth.
They were pretty good but apparently that was their last show ever and there was a kitten there.

As I was walking up the sidewalk to go into the house I heard someone exclaim "Colleen Green!"
It turned out to be one of the two people who bought my tape at my show in Tucson Arizona.
His name was Andy and he was on the road with his friend's band who was also playing the show at The Hive.
Crazy.

Then we went back to The Full House House, hung out for a bit, and then Kayla walked me to the bus stop and I went home. While on the bus, I formulated big plans to be in my pajamas, drinking tea, eating cookies, and smoking tons of weed once I got back.
And that is what I did!
Dan was awake drinking beeahs and then the neighbor Tom came over and drank wine. Then Erica came home from her HOT DATE and told us all about how shitty it was.
Aww.
No tail for Erica.
Not tonight.
She will have to settle for smoking hella bowls on the couch with ME and then going to bed alone.
I'm nice though, so that's good.


THEN on Wednesday, I took the 18 to go play music with my new friend Max.
He lives DIRECTLY next door to Rob whose house I was at just the day prior.
We hung out and played some jams and smoked weed and he gave me a cookie.
It was fun!
We are gonna play a Screeching Weasel song together on the 25th.
I told him that I liked "ska" and then named Reel Big Fish, Goldfinger, and Sublime as 3 of my favorite bands from my teenage years.
He thinks I'm lame now.
But I don't mind.

ALSO, I got a fucking BOSS shirt from Out of the Closet yesterday.
I love getting free stuff!
I ran into Owen at the laundromat too.

YR LOVE IS MY DRUG!

Last week was fun!

On Tuesday I went to Berkeley cuz I wanted to go to The Starving Musician and I had to go to the Post Office as well.
Matt from the Dashing Suns was working and I exclaimed "YES!" when I walked in and saw him.
I was hoping he would be there!
I got new strings and picks. Then I went to the Post Office.
Then I took the bus to Kayla's hood, and realized I left my fur jacket at the bus stop.
NOOOOOOOO!!!! I NEED THAT!!!!!!
So I took the bus allll the way back to downtown Berkeley. It was a good thing I got a transfer!
I was really worried that my jacket would be gone by the time I got back there.
But it wasn't!
Yay!!!
So then I took the bus back to Oakland and went to Kayla's and hung out with her and Anabel for a spell.
Lilly ate all my combos.
Then Kayla went to the A's game, Nate came home and took me and Anabel to the Knifey Spoony show.
It was at Kimo's which is possibly the most boring bar in San Francisco.
"Chill Brah" was there and it was hilarious!!!
Me, Nate, and Anabel got really delicious Thai food but I forgot our leftovers at Kimo's :(
The show was fun but it was hella windy in SF and my skirt kept blowing up.


Then on Wednesday we decided to visit TONE!!!
That's always fun.
I went to Kayla's first and again, hung out with her and Anabel for a spell.



Kayla and I got into an argument. I called her a brat. Then I felt really bad.
In fact, I cried!
I do not want to argue with Kayla EVER or be mean to her in any way.
I apologized and she apologized and then it was all fun again.
Me, Erica, Dan, Nate, and Kayla all went in Erica's car to Santa Rosa.

We smoked weed, drank white russians with cherry vanilla ice cream in them, played beer pong (me and Kayla ALMOST beat Nate and Ryan Z. I am way better at that game when fucking wasted. Duh.) and admired the plants. Tone gave me and Kayla huge bags of trim/shake which we decided to use for baked goods.

I made weed rice krispie treats which I dipped in weed butterscotch and then dipped again in chocolate that also had weed in it.
They were fucking DELECTABLE and rich as shit.
And they got you FUCKED up!!!
They were really fun to make and just as fun to fucking annihilate.

I played a show at the Victory Warehouse in Oakland on Friday night and it was pretty fun.
I sold my weed treats and they were a big hit.
I covered "Your Love is my Drug" and it was super fun. I love that song!
Matty and Kara came!!!
Everyone ate weed treats and got soooooo stoned.
Matty and Kara stayed with ME at Erica's.


On Saturday morning, we decided Matty and Kara needed to experience the deliciousness that is Lynn and Lu's Escapade Cafe. So we went there!
It was so good. I got an oatmeal pancake with blueberry sauce. I wasn't super hungry because I had eaten a bowl of Magic Stars when I woke up. They are just like Lucky Charms, except with less luck and more magic.
Everyone got very delicious things.

Then everyone else left and Erica and I went to San Francisco and hung out in Dolores Park.
I attempted to sell more weed treats to all the fucking stoners, and managed to sell TWO! It was really awkward though, going up to people like that. Most people didn't really like me. In fact one dude told me straight up how awkward it was. But I think he was the awkward one because talking to me, his face was getting all red.
He was a nerd.
Then we went home and smoked weed and ate weed treats and watched "Candyman".


THEN on Sunday!
We decided to go to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
I had never been there before! It was fun.
Me, Kayla, Nate, Erica, Ashley, Kyle, Shelby, Kaisha, Lilly and Mike all piled into the Have Mercys van.



We layed on the beach for a long time. I did not speak AT ALL and was halfway asleep the whole time.
I thought I lost my towel!
But then today I found it. It was in my bag. Hehehe!
Then we walked on the boardwalk a little and were promptly told to leave because of Lilly.
Discrimination I tell ya!
She nice!
Then Mike was freaking out cuz this is the bridge from Lost Boys, and he really thought we should walk across it. So we did!

You can see Kayla, Ashley, and Kaisha walking across. It was actually kinda scary!

Then we went to this restaurant called Saturn and it was DELICIOUS!
Everyone's meals looked soooo good.

Last night was....you guessed it....


FUN!

I've been doing a lot of morning time toking with Erica. I like it a lot. I wake up to her coming home from work at like 9-10 am, we smoke weed together, and she tells me about gross shit that she's witnessed at the hospital.

Ew.

Then she goes to sleep and I try to find ways to entertain myself.
A few days ago I went to the park with Nate, Crystal, and Kayla. It was nice out. That was pretty fun. Then we ate pizza, went to the Full House House, smoked tons of weed, and watched "Date Movie" and then I went to sleep with Lilly in Kayla's bed.

At around 6 am I got up and tried to take the 14 back to the Lake.
But guess what!
THEY CHANGED THE 14!!!
No one told me.

I ended up taking the 72M to Jack London Square where a bunch of dudes were running around with produce. Then I wandered around looking for the 14 for a while. I finally found it, took it back, and ate a bagel. It took me 2 hours to get back to Dan and Erica's!

18 it is from NOW ON.

I like taking the bus. I wish it wasn't so expensive. Erica's bike is a bit too tall for me. I'm not as flexible as I used to be.

I would easily die.

Last night was First Friday.
I took the 18 to Lil' Crystal's which is pretty close to the Full House House.
She and Kayla were there and they had just spent like 2 hours at various grocery stores getting supplies to make some sort of humongous feast but then they just decided to hang instead.
Mike and Nate came over and brought us to a house show at 10th and Mandela.
Some bands I will never listen to played. I didn't go in. Anabel was there. I ate 2 Twixes and drank a Monster Energy Drink, which I have never had before but was tasty!

It was fun!

Then we decided to go to some dance party in a parking lot at 20th and Telegraph, but we only made it as far as the Giant Burger stand on San Pablo where there were a bunch of old 50s cars, a bunch of 50s looking people, and they were playing some song that's in "Back to the Future". Like, from the part when they go back to the 50s. Oh and there were tons of people there hanging out and dancing.
We hung out.
Then we went to Ghost Town where not much of anything was happening!
But it was STILL fun.
Then we went to the Full House House and I played with Lilly for a bit before attempting to sleep in Nate's bed.
I did not sleep.
Nate came home and I moved to Kayla's bed and did not sleep.
Then Kayla came to bed and at that point it was 6:45 and the buses were running so I just left.

Actually, I went to Fresh Donut first and got an egg and cheese on a croissant.
Still the best shit ever.

This weekend was fun!

Friday consisted of Kayla and I waiting for Dan and Erica to arrive in L.A.
I forget what we did.
Hung out, probably.
Walked around.
Ate morphine.

We also made shirts. I am now the proud owner of a dope, dope, DOPE as fuck Bugs and Rats shirt. I am excited, because I really like Bugs and Rats but I've never had a shirt to display my adoration before.

Kayla made a Young Money shirt. Then Erica and Dan came, and Erica made a shirt with an E and a dollar sign. I can only assume the E is for Erica.



I helped Kayla draw her dollar signs and 0!

Saturday morning consisted of us smoking weed, drinking coffee, and hanging out.
We picked Sharlotte up in Culver City around 4 and headed to the Silverlake Lounge.

I set up my stuff and then we got food at some cafe. It was good.

Then we went back to the Silverlake Lounge and they were showing the movie "Basket Case" which kept us entertained for a while!

Then comedy happened, and it was pretty funny. My friend the Comedian performed and his jokes worked. Paul Scheer cancelled. I broke my low E string halfway through the first song and ended up having to use a D string in its place because I had no other choice! It actually didn't sound as fucked up as I thought it was going to. I continued playing and quickly cleared the room.

Then these two dudes decided to smoke me and Kayla out with tons of hash in the parking lot for like a half hour. Thanks dudes! This is what it looked like sorta from my POV:

Then we went down the street and the boys tried to climb a tree.


Then we went to the Brite Spot and it was SOOOO GOOD!!!


James got vegetable soup and coffee. Kayla got a vegan BLT. OMAGAH erica is home now hold on we're gonna smoke weed.


Danny got a HUGE fucking piece of banana cream pie, which he shared with everyone, and it was SOOOOO GOOD. Me and Erica split some damn fried chicken and french fries and Sharlotte got sweet potato french fries which I ate as well.


I don't remember what Dan got.


Hooray!


Then I'm pretty sure we went home and got stoned in a tent.


On Sunday we took the bus to the beach! It was really fucking beautiful out and I wore my nightgown.

Erica bought a crazy hat, but I didn't take any pictures unfortunately. Some dude with gold teef smoked me and Kayla up because we were sitting on a grassy knoll and he thought we "looked cool".

He was right!

Then we met up with Eric Stanton, went to the grocery store, got supplies, and then went to my house and made a DELICIOUS fucking meal and I think we tried to watch Kindergarten Cop.

That's a good movie.

We watched it for real times in the morning too.

THEN Kayla, Erica, Dan and I drove to Oakland! I ate a lot of candy on this trip. It was all very sweet and chocolatey.

I love Oakland!

Yesterday was the very FIRST day of June. I hung out with Erica, walked around, ate delicious sandwiches, went to Lo's with Allie, and ran into Caroline from the Splinters who happened to be skateboarding by Lo's house on her way to some Kingfishery or something!

Then Dan made dinner and let me have some! It was good.
Then Nate, Jose, and Lilly came over!



YAYYY!!!!!!!

Then we went to Jose's and ate pot brownies. They were SO GOOD.
The boys watched movies and stuff on this big wall. I slept a bunch.




Jose says this guy has "brain freeze".



I slept on a little personal couch. It was nice.

THEN Nate said he would drive me and Dan home so we all took a burn turn to the lake, and that was that.
